Taxes, Photos, No Cycling

This morning when I woke up I had every intention of going out and doing a nice bike ride. Unfortunately not only did the morning get away from me a little bit and I started digging around with things like photos and other stuff I noticed that the wind was picking up a little bit as well and I really didn't want to deal with it. It was actually a little bit on the cold side today as well and that was another downer.

Most of this sounds like a little more than excuses and in reality that is exactly what it is. Had I wanted to go bad enough of made the time once I got up at 7 AM. Instead I managed to start diving into figuring out how to organize our photos which equals nothing but stress and annoyance.

Photo Decision

Speaking of the photos, after a lot of back-and-forth and getting pissed off I finally decided to go ahead and use the Zenfolio photo / video storage and management website that I have been looking at for nearly 15 days. It is not the easiest by any means but it is much easier than everything else I have been looking at plus it has the majority of the features I want and need.

Cicely jumped in and helped me out a huge amount by going through the library and setting up everything that she could while I went into the bedroom and took a nap for a good hour or so. Something that I really need it today more than I realized I did.

We still have a long ago on the photo organization I still need to pay for the subscription of the service so I can get our videos in there but that is all in good time and will get done especially now that she is helping me with it's not all on my shoulders. She probably has no idea how much relieved and it's helpful I appreciate very much!

Taxes

My other plan this weekend was to get our taxes out of the way for 2014. I put it off yesterday after going for a nice bike ride in today needs to get done what I have been spending most of the evening doing tonight and we are able to get something back this year.

So far it's looking as though we should get something because of the write offs that we have this year. Otherwise I think that we would probably be screwed and end up having to pay - again total bullshxt based on the massive amount of taxes that we pay in the first place every year and get little to nothing to show for it the following year.

That's All

So for me it's back to taxes and trying to get them done so that we can watch an episode of The Walking Dead and chill for a little while before diving back into the workweek in a few hours. I for one think that I am going to take a few more days off, or at the very least one more, probably the day before Cicely and I take a few days off before the Good Friday weekend. I just need a day at home to go for a ride, screw around and kill an entire day in whatever manner I feel.

Photo: It's a little bit cold out tonight so we decided on chili dogs for dinner along with salad. I think it's going to hit the spot and be mmm good!
