It's official our baby girl is one year old today. In reality she's about one year old and seven hours or so. Everyone told us that it would go by really fast and I would be lying if I did not agree with them. I had no idea the next thing I knew it would be a year already.
It has been an absolute blast though and I think she is teaching us and reminding us make every day that much better. Things will get a little more difficult to get just because she's going to want to be more of her own person and that is okay we just have to teach her to be her own person in the right way.
Being responsible and growing up doing things that you want to do versus what everyone else wants you to do is a lot easier said than done. All we can do is try to keep her on track and give her kudos every time she is doing the right thing when everyone else is doing the wrong thing or something she simply does not agree with.
I don't want to fill today's entry with a bunch of other stuff because it's your day, big #1 birthday. So that is all for today. We may try to sneak out early and go have some ice cream or something with her to celebrate on the way home. I have not mentioned this to Sicily at but I think she will be all for it.
