Extra Early Start

Today was supposed to start out with Cicely having a dentist appointment at 8:00, I have no idea why she makes the appointments this early. We either have to reschedule or we are 5 to 10 minutes late to them depending on the amount of traffic and that is if there is no accidents or other problems.

Rescheduled

Well as usual that was the case today. There was a lot of traffic nearly all the way from the house until we got off the highway over by work. This meant that we had to call the dental office and ask if it would be okay to show up a few minutes late to the appointment today. Nope not today, they had an appointment right after Cicely's so this meant she had to reschedule. Thankfully they had something for today still and only a couple hours later at 10.

This means that my appointment is coming up soon as well, we seem to always be a month or so off. I always enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned, anymore not so much. Seems all it is every visit is bad news, something they are going to need to keep an eye on or related. Because of that I am worked up every visit before it's even the actual week of the appointment.

Better Half

For some reason Cicely is not feeling very well today. I think it may have been the fact that we had Taco Bell last night for dinner and that we also had it late, close to 10:30pm which is usually not a good thing to do unless we will be up for a few hours or don't have to work the next day. Unfortunately neither of those were the case for her this time so I hope her stomach starts feeling better sooner than later. I have dealt with stomach issues my entire life and I know how annoying it can be and really put you in a down and depressed mood.

Anyway

That is about all that is happening today. The weekend is getting closer and that means so is the big party for Zoey. Well 'big party' is a bit of a stretch, though it will be great for her to see family and have some cake, cupcakes, open presents and whatever else she wants. It's her big day so I want her to have a good time and enjoy herself. Not that she will remember much of it, we will be in charge of keeping photos and that sort of thing that she can look back on.

Should prove to be a lot of fun and if the weather is nice as it's supposed to be, maybe I will be able to put her new 4 in 1 tricycle together and take her for a ride on that. I think that will be the only toy she receives from us. She still has things in boxes from Christmas that she has not played with yet so the last thing she needs is more toys. Although I have a feeling she will be getting them from grandma's and grandpa's and others.

As we carefully stopped to look at it, I pulled out my phone and switched on the camera, immediately telling Cicely "stay still for a second, I want to get a picture of this little guy". Tuning me out as usual she decided that because we were stopped it was prime time to feed the "poor starving bunny". As you can see in my photo there is no sign of the bunny that was already eating and looking right at us with the cutest pose while doing so. Instead I am stuck with a photo of landscaping and a lettuce Frisbee sailing towards where the bunny previously was....
