Running Late

Crazy start to the morning today. Somehow I managed to get up super early and not leave the house early enough. On any other day this would not be as big of a deal, today was different because we had an all-hands meeting for my studio and Cicely's studio.

Made It

I'm happy to report that because of my excellent driving and a lead food on the gas pedal of the car we made it to work with 13 minutes or so to spare. This meant that I had time to swing into the Child Garden and have Cicely drop Zoey off while I waited in the car.

Once done with the drop off we hurried over to the cafeteria parking so we could park there and go in those doors to get to the meeting. It was a success and we were on time, a little bit early actually and able to get some breakfast as well.

Breakfast

I should know better than to get breakfast and so should Cicely at those meetings. All that it did for me was cramp up my stomach and for her it made her feel nauseous and not want to eat at the cafe today for lunch.

She has a doctors appointment at 1:30 so I think I am going to go with her to it so I can stop and have lunch with her afterwards. We have a Mexican place we like downtown that she will probably want to go to, the only issue with that is the fact that we already feel a little crappy in the stomach area.

Oh Well

That is about all for today. It's a meeting filled day for me and not sure how it is for Cicely other than her being really busy once again on her newest game project. I think she deserved a break in-between projects but I guess either her boss felt differently or she was the one that wanted to stay busy and jump right into another project - silly girl!
