First Day As A Kitten

Today was a big day for Zoey. Last week she was going into the new class for an hour or two everyday to get use to the environment, new teachers and so on. Today is the official day for her to be in that class permanently and all day.

She started out at daycare as a Little Lamb just under a year ago and had such a great time with not only the kids in there but the teachers as well. We got along with everyone also which was super helpful for our first year with a baby in daycare.

Today she is officially a Cuddly Kitten and will be doing different daily activities. Mostly everything will be the same, slightly different schedules mostly. She will only get two naps as well compared to getting them anytime that she was tired and getting grumpy.

Also in this class she swaps from bottles to sippy cups and from formula to milk, which they provide, so it's one less thing that we have to remember to do everyday before work. We also don't need to bring sippy cups if we don't want to, or if we forget, they have them there and will provide as needed.

She will get to go outside now more often when the weather is nice after a nice lathering up of sunscreen. Same with buggy rides, she will get to do more of those once she is 12 months. She has been on them before, I am just not sure where all they go when they are younger than the 12 month mark.

Dinner

Tonight after we pick up Zoey from school we are heading out to Cicely's parents house to have dinner and to celebrate Zoey's birthday again. They were supposed to come out to our house on Wednesday, her actual birthday, but they have to work now so that will not work out as planned.

This is probably a good thing big picture because now we can save them a trip as well and they can still visit with Zoey, we can visit with them and all things in-between. For me it sucks a little because we are supposed to have lasagna at their house and I have a little indigestion and a slight headache for some reason.

Maybe it's just because I have not eaten enough food today and I did not eat breakfast, I almost always do anymore too so that could be part of it.

Great 1st Day

Zoey did awesome today from what the teachers were saying. She had a little trouble staying awake on her buggy ride because it was nap time for her.

She played all day and had a good time. Right now she is sleeping in the back while we drive to grandma and grandpas house out in Lemon Valley! We are almost there so that is my queue to put down the phone and be social. Have a great night and roll smoothly into Tuesday if you are a worker bee like us.
