Picture Day (Lambs)

Well here we are again at the top of the week already! Seems as though the weekends go by so fast compared to the weekdays. I wonder if the same would hold true if we worked on Saturday and Sunday and the weekend was Monday through Friday? Anytime my company would like to give that a test I am sure there are many that would be willing to take part in the trial period.

Seriously though, all things considered it was a really nice weekend. It was almost as though we time traveled between seasons. On Friday it was mostly raining outside all day, then the temperatures dropped enough that the rain turned to snow overnight leaving us white stuff to play in on Saturday. That was the day Zoey and I did laps out back and made a couple sweet jumps.

Sunday was cold although warm enough to do things outdoors if you had an extra layer of clothes on. The streets were still wet in places and there was still snow in the shady areas that you'd have to watch out for, otherwise it was decent.

Today is cold, really cold in comparison actually, thankfully it's the last cold front for the week before the springlike weather comes back our way by the middle of the week. I'm not sure if it will hold true for very long, although I'm not going to lie - I have really enjoyed the warm winter weather this year. If we get a crazy winter season next year we may all be in trouble seeing that we are out of practice after this winter!

First Picture Day

Today is picture day for Zoey at daycare. Her first real picture day at school for that matter. I am very curious to see how they turn out and whether or not the photographer is able to get good photos of her. She is quite the little chatterbox and may not want to focus on the camera or look in the direction needed. Lately she has been more interested in what is around her and asks 'waaazzz daaat'? It's so damn cute, I cant even begin to describe - you'd have to hear it!

That is pretty much what happened with Santa, she just talked and talked and looked around at everyone and everything. Focusing all of her attention to those things and not any of us crazy parents hooting and hollering off to the side to get her to look at the camera so we could get that 'perfect photo'. I think she will have fun with it and so long as we can hide the scratch on her forehead I think we will be fine. If we cant, well then that is what Photoshop is for I suppose right!

Jump In

Okay I think that is about all I have time for today. Next week I have to move into my new, old cube at work so this week I need to start cleaning crap up and getting ready for the move. I have moved around so many times at this place I should start doing what Cicely does and not unpack the boxes after a move just so they are ready ahead of time at the next one.

Photo: Nothing to take a photo of today so here is my Küat bike rack logo.
