Thursday Is Friday

Yep that is right bitches, today is my Friday because my company recently started recognizing Good Friday as a day they wanted to observe as a holiday. I still find it funny that we honor several holidays but not Nevada Day. Sure some will say that it's because we are a global corporation but keep in mind that our home offices are in Nevada. I dunno, that has always been a strange one to me.

No matter zero complaints out of me today. I am looking forward to a nice 3 day weekend and hopefully not only getting things done but enjoying the weather. According to the guessers it should be another nice weekend with little to no chance of crummy weather other than some wind possibly I think. No biggie or surprise there, we get wind all the time in the summer months.

Studio Fun

So today at "work" we are going to have good brought in and have a get-together outside and inside to enjoy some pizzas, salads, wings and related to get us outside of the cube walls for a couple hours.

Once done eating we will go back to work for a little while, although my guess is that little to nothing will get done. Around 2:30 we are all going to gather outside and have a good old fashion Easter egg hunt.

We have filled plastic eggs with everything from gift cards to have lunch at our cafeteria to iTunes cards, movie passes and tons of other really cool prizes. I think it's a really cool idea and a great way to get everyone chatting and having a little fun after all of the craziness of the past couple of weeks.

Early Out

Later in the afternoon after all of the eggs are found we will be getting to go home early and start the weekend off ahead of everyone else. I am of course not supposed to say anything about this because only management knows but by the time I post this, anyone that would have read it would already be home for the day enjoying the time off.

Bike Shopping

Depending on how early we get out today I may head down to the bike shop and do a little window shopping. I was planning to go tomorrow during the day with Cicely and Zoey since I am off work but if I can get some of the questions out of the way and save us a trip or time Friday then that will be cool.

I know that Cicely has plans to meet her friend for coffee and business discussion in the afternoon so we will be on a tight schedule as it is. Then Saturday she has some things to take care of before her big fashion show and sale that is just around the corner. I think that it's for the dress rehearsal but I'm not 100% sure.
