Napping Kinda Day

So not a lot of anything to rabble about today. Its Saturday and we have all had a really relaxing day spending time together inside the house of all places. The reason I say that is because it was such a nice day outside we should have all went outside and did "something" but we did not. We did a little of this, a little of that and ended up in a big dog pile on the couch.

The dog pile consisted of Cicely reclined back on the end of the couch, holding Zoey but kinda low in her arms, just enough so when I came over to sneak in some kisses on Zoey's forehead I ended up extremely comfortable and started to get heavy eyed. Within minutes the fuzzy kid, Oggy, came over to join us and laid next to me with his head on Cicely's leg but just behind Zoey's neck. In this pile of family we managed to fall asleep for nearly 2 hours in the middle of the afternoon. A nice breeze was blowing in the cracked window and it was as quiet as could be outside.

A combination for the perfect day of napping as you can tell and heck, even talking about it now is making me a little bit sleepy again - how funny is that? I know, I have a lot of things that I have been wanting to get done, needing to get done and not getting done so this is not the ideal way to spend 1 of the short 2 days a week I am off of work, but hey - worked for us today so I am OK with it.

Otherwise I managed to do a little cardio later in the evening before we decided what we were going to have for dinner. Soon after it would be time to watch either TV or maybe all of us snuggle-in and watch a movie on Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Instant or one of the many other options we have.

It's crazy that we still have cable TV I know, only because there are enough shows on to maintain our interest - but dammit, we still keep trying to determine if the $160/ month is worth having the option. Yet part of that cost goes to our high-speed internet, although we could still save $80 or more a month, which is simple math to realize that is $960+/year of savings!

Anyway, that is a rant for another day. For now I am calling this post complete and getting back to relaxing with my family. Otherwise the next thing I know it will be Monday!
