Happy Birthday Cizzle

So first things first - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my beautiful and talented wife. You are such an amazing and unique individual, wife and now mom that words would not even scrape the surface to describe how much you mean to not only me but to the rest of the family.

Thank you so much for being you, being strong and always giving 110% even when your body and mind are telling you that there is no way in HELL you can give more than about 60%. I hope you have a great birthday, and you have a hundred more to celebrate! Love you Cizzle!

New Moms Luncheon

Today Cicely met 2 of the other new moms for lunch at a local resturant that they all really enjoy. Unfortunately the owners daughter was the one that greeted them and was a total bitch and basically did not want to deal with 4 women and 4 babies - even though they had reservations and the place knew that they had babies. So its was basically a big "fuck you Stonehouse Grill" and they went to another place for food and conversation.

I think it was a great thing for cicely to do, to get out and chat with other moms and compare notes on what has been going good, bad or similar for each of them. Come to find out, there is a lot more similarity than any of them had realized and that made them all feel great. Not to mention there was one friend there that is expecting twins in a month or so and they did not want to scare her obviously with all of their stories.

Anyway, I think that she had a good time and as I said I really hope that she does more of this in the future because its good for her to get out and chat with those going through a lot of the same experiences and challenges.

Class

Out of the office today and back up to UNR for class. It will be a nice break after all of the events last week and this week that were going on around the company and more importantly my studio.

Today's class, "Managing Today's Workforce" is more closely related to what I do on a daily basis so it will be nice to get additional information and resources for my day-to-day duties. If nothing else I have found that the classes give me another method at times on how to deal with situations through various techniques based on personnel.

Blow 'Em Out

Ok so its time to once again blow out the candles for this entry and reignite those flames tomorrow and see what there is to rabble about. The weekend is looking to be fairly uneventful and that is ok with me. I want to sorta poke around and not do a whole lot of anything. I hope your Friday treats you well and you too have a great entry into your weekend events.
