More Doctors, Sheesh

Another day and more doctor appointments - luckily none for me for a change. Cicely has an early morning dentist appointment to get her grill shined up for another 6 months and make sure that there are no cavities or problems going on in there. She is lucky, born with great teeth and enamel.

Weather

It's surprisingly on the cold side today. It's the first of August and only supposed to hit the mid 80's. What a crazy summer it has been as far as that goes. We are either boiling or unsure how to dress for a specific day. Ahh, Nevada weather.

Mom, Ugh

Today we take mom to the doctor to not only make certain that she is ok but also to see if we can begin the process to try and take over the decision making for her and potentially start the steps to get her placed somewhere that will benefit her well being, keep her safe and hopefully more stimulated.

For anyone that has been through a family member having health issues or needing to make care decisions you understand how difficult that it is to do. It's basically like taking over someones rights and related. It's a really shxtty feeling but a necessary evil I suppose to keep a parent or family member safe.

So anyway the process will be started after today's afternoon appointment and we will see where it goes from there. Last night she was actually doing pretty good, asking questions and engaged in conversation as best as she could be which was great.

Sewn Up

Ok once again that will be the post for today. Not much else going on besides work which is busy busy and nothing new as far as that goes.

I am looking forward to the weekend and trying to get some things done that I have been putting off or too busy to do. All-in-all it has been a nice week and I hope it continues to be.
