Smokey

Today has already felt like a copy/paste if yesterday. I stayed up later than I should have although only until 12:15 AM instead if after 1:00 AM Monday night.

Something about sitting on the couch late at night surfing, reading, researching and related that is relaxing. The biggest problem is that time flies by at double the speed it normally would.

California Fires

It has been really cloudy and smokey in the valley for the past 2 or 3 days and it's making my eyes burn and itch like crazy! Boo-hoo I know, I mean think about those that are dealing with putting out the fires in California which is the cause of all the smoke.

Even worse is the fact that people are probably losing their homes and valuables. Something I never want to experience nor do I like it when I hear of others going through loss.

Hopefully the firefighters will be able to get a handle on the fire today and have it out by the end of the week. I am sure everyone evacuated would like to know if their homes and property are ok and would like to get in there and begin to pick up the pieces and start to rebuild and recover.

That's gonna do it for today. I need to dive deep into my content and make some progress. Tonight we stop by moms house as we do every Wednesday to check-up on her, take her a milkshake and make her some dinner. It always makes me really sad to see her like this, but at the same time happy to visit and know that she is doing alright.
