Zzzz's

Oggy woke us up early today, I guess he was hungry and worked we would not feels him. He should know better though, we have never missed a meal, snack or after dinner frosty paws ice cream treat.

Honestly it's prolly a good thing that he did and was so persistent. I wanted to get some mega-dead-to-the-world sleep last night so I tried out some of my new NyQuil Zzz I picked up a few months back. Holy shxt does that stuff work great, almost too good.

The only downside is that I was a little tired and felt kinda spacey today off and on. Although that could have been due to the crazy week or the smoke from the fires or heck; a combination of everything. Either way I felt like I had a good nights sleep and that was my goal so I am stoked.

I did wake up with my stupid back, neck and shoulder blades feeling a little better so that is cool. Either it was the dead sleep I was in or it was what I needed to fix it - more sleep. Either way I am just happy it is feeling better because Friday sucked big time dealing with it.

Pregnancy

Cicely had a rough few days last week as well because of the pregnancy. Everything from a headache and nausea to indigestion and heartburn. What's worse is a times it was a combination of all those things. Today she is feeling a little better thankfully.

We have 2 doctor appointments for her next week so we may see if there is anything they can give her. Mostly for the headache and nausea. I know she won't take it unless she absolutely has to. Sometimes just having it there makes it easier to not use it, if that makes any sense? I know it works for me all the time just knowing I have something I can take if necessary.

Back At It

So surprisingly enough I still am not fully done with the garage project or the shed. Today was the day to make some major progress and I actually feel like I did. Managed to get a ton of stuff out of the shed and off the floor and into the garage and in drawers, cabinets and so on like the belong.

It's actually a good feeling to get more of it fine and I can't wait until its 100% done. I want to work and play with my helicopters more on the weekends not organize all of my crap!

Things like taking Oggy for walks have been put on the back burned a lot this summer and that sucks. He needs his exercise and time out as well. But with Cicely prego's and me tired, busy or both it can be tough. Not to mention he is up about a pound or 2 and on a little guy like a chihuahua it's a lot more than it sounds. So the vet is going to be all over us next time we go in, ugh!

Quad Flying

So why the photo of the quad for today's photo of the day? Well I decided to charge up some batteries and fly it while taking a break from the garage work. I have not flown that since the beginning of the year or longer.

It was a blast and I actually did a lot better than I use to which I can attribute to flying my normal helicopters. I still suck pretty bad at my regular helicopters but its only because I don't have time to practice. I plan to do more flying very soon whether on the SIM or actual flying outside.

Biggest reason? I have not mentioned it yet but I actually pulled the trigger on a new 450L Dominator helicopter. Yea crazy big compared to what I have been flying and about 5x as expensive in every way. It will be fun I just have to be really careful because they are dangerous. Pretty much a flying lawnmower blade zipping around.

More on that later though once I get it in the mail. It was actually a special release and they sold out fast so I was lucky to be able to get one. Now I have to buy all of the stuff I need to tune and work on such a big aircraft. Plus the fact that I need to get more batteries also. That is always an expensive part.

Calling It A Day

Well I think that will do it for this entry today. As I write this Oggy, Cicely and I are heading down to pick up some dinner at a local Chinese restaurant called Fortune Palace. I am having lemon chicken and Cicely is having veggie fried rice. We got an order of pot stickers as well to nibble on. So after it will be a few episodes of Battlestar Galactica and prolly this old guy getting to bed.
