Flying
So a friend of mine from work invited me to go this this big soccer field and do some flying in 2 weeks. Problem is that I am not really comfortable flying around a bunch of people as its hard to focus as it is now.
Because of this I asked if he was going to fly at all this weekend or do some testing. As luck would have it he is! He plans to fly his new heli and try to get it dialed in while the weather is still nice.
I think I am going to and meet up with him and take a few of my toys. Most likely I will take my AR.Drone and 4 batteries. My Blade Nano CPx and 8 batteries and last my Blade 130x and 2 or 3 batteries. Should be a good flying session and if I have any bad crashes with one of them I still have two others to fly for the remainder of the time.
The 130x actually has me the most concerned because I have never flown it so I don't know what to expect. My friend has a buddy box cable so worst case we can hook up or transmitters and if I get into trouble hopefully he can recover it and save me a few bucks buying crash repair components.
I guess we will see how it goes and if I end up going. I think it will do me good actually to get out and fly in a bigger area where I can more easily recover. Plus I may get some good footage with the AR.Drone as well out there!
Otherwise not much else going on today. Just a busy day and I want to get a ton of stuff accomplished if at all possible. Normally today is my float day at the gym where I take it off depending on how my body feels. But today I am just going to go ahead and go.
Monday my workout was cut short for a late afternoon meeting and I only managed to get cardio in. Yesterday I had to skip because some of my post lunch meetings ran over the scheduled times. No biggie it happens and luckily not very often which is good!
Enjoy your Friday and roll into the weekend on a positive vibe! Otherwise the next thing you know it will be Monday again and you will be bummed!
Photo: Pouring my bottle of Macallan 18 is how I would like to end this crazy ass week tonight when I get home. Bottle is still really full surprisingly, better start working on that!
