Day Off

Off work today and not doing a whole lot of anything besides getting some shxt done that has been on our to-do lists for longer than they should have been.

Lawn Disease

So the lawn care guys came out today and added some fertilizer and weed kill to the lawn. The front is still really weird in the areas that have been getting attacked by the disease we managed to put into the soul unknowingly.

We actually did everything by the book. We bought sod locally to use as patch pieces and cut and added them in. In every area we added a patch there is disease. Total bullshxt to be honest and we are stuck with the ugliness.

From what we are told we can not do much to help it heal up other than wait it out and make sure to keep it watered as much as possible. Both on days with the sprinkler system and hand watering in the non-sprinkler days.

Baby Doctor

So first things first we have an appointment downtown for Cicely's second doctor visit at the OB-GYN doctor. This visit is mostly for billing to be set-up as well as to see how everything is going with the pregnancy.

We are excited because we finally get to see our actual doctor (Dr. Perry) this visit - which is exciting. I am not sure if we will get additional images today or not though because we just had them done the first part of the week. Doubtful and honestly probably unnecessary - just a lot of fun to see the little monkey in there.

We do need to ask the doctor about Cicely's nausea because at times it has been a little extreme and has never fully gone away for her. Same thing with the heartburn and indigestion. If they can give her something that will help, but more importantly is safe for her and the baby, that would be great.

Safes

After we are going to try and swing by the shop that sells the safes. I need to get on the ball and get something ordered so that it can be delivered, installed and complete one of the final pieces of the puzzle to finish up the garage remodel project.

I am both looking forward to getting one and not looking forward to getting one. Spending upwards of 5k for a big metal box is not that exciting. But it's necessary to safeguard not only firearms but important documents as well as all of the colored pictures our little one starts to bring home from art class in the years to come. So exciting, can't wait!

Concrete

We have a guy coming out today to see if we can get a quote on having some concrete work done on the side of the house with the shed. I have a feeling it's going to be difficult to find a company that can handle the project.

Basically we need special drainage designed into it and have it all poured around the area that the shed is currently sitting on. Should be "fun" to explain what I am in need of, and even more "fun" to get them to do it correctly.

Guess we will see what they say and more importantly if we can afford it right now. More on that later I am sure.

Enough

Ok back to my day off from work. Getting off the laptop and related so the hours don't waste by. I have a lot to do so I don't want to spend it online. I can do plenty of that this winter when the weather dictates it.
