So it's officially the last day of the holiday vacation. After nearly 16 days off from work tomorrow morning we have to get up bright and early and get back into our old routine. I'm not sure how easy it's going to be but we have no choice.
As expected today I managed to get a lot of stuff done that I should've gotten done during the vacation. This always happens just like I predicted we would get the majority of the stuff done the last day for the last couple days.
On the bright side at least things got done and we had a lot of days to relax, spend with family, and just hang out at home which was awesome for a change. Not to mention, we did not have to drive in the first snowfall of the year which was great.
Printing
I had planned to do a little more 3-D printing today but that was not possible. With the amount of stuff that we had left to get done it was low priority on my list and I still me attempt to get at least one print done depending on time.
Whether or not the print goes well it will not be a big deal. My ultimate goal and curiosity is that I want to try and get one more thing done on it that is of interest to us both. It will be cool to see something come out of it other than the test print that is preloaded on the hardware.

Our Little Crawler
Well I am stoked to say that today Zoey finally started crawling. It was a super long distance that she went but that is not important. She probably crawled three or four feet if that more likely two but it does not matter because she crawled! We are thinking that by the end of the week she will probably be crawling even better after she sees more of her friends at school doing the same.
It's progress for her and that is what matters to us as well as to her obviously. She has been a little bit fussy today so I'm not sure exactly why. Either she is overstimulated with all of her toys, the new things she is starting to recognize, being in the house with us for a week or maybe she is tired from the crawling experience heck she may have more teeth coming in and that could be the problem, it's always hard to tell.
I guess that tonight while she was in her room with Cicely after her favorite part of the night - bath time, she was zipping around, well at her pace of zipping, and doing more practice crawling, getting up from off her belly and showing interest in pulling herself up more. We are planning to swing by Babies R Us after work tomorrow to get her this thing that helps them stand and hold themselves up as well as allows them to sort of push it slowly and walk along with it. I am a little worried that it will flip up and whack her, but they seem to be fairly commonly used and stable so we will see.

With That
That said I'm going to go ahead and call it in and treat for today and finish up a few more things that I want to get done before I hit the sack for the night. It will probably feel like an extremely long week since we have been off for two weeks or more and this will be the first full week back to work. My guess is that everyone will be on top of their New Year's resolutions and excited about being perfect at least for a couple days to a couple weeks, lame!
At the same time if he gets a few people motivated and they are able to change things in their life for the better and I am all for it. Otherwise they are just wasting their time and getting in the way at the gym.well that and several other places like the cafeteria and the salad bar, LOL.
If you manage to make some resolution do your best to stick to them. Remember, it only takes 21 days to break or change a habit and from there it's gravy. You can do it I guarantee it I have done many things and while not easy it is all doable if you really want it bad enough then you'll get it.
Photo: Here is one of our really good prints from yesterday. Sure it's just one of the test prints but is the best one we have had so far. Now onto things that we actually want to see printed.
