Earlier Start

Today starts off with a doctors appointment bright and early for me. Normally at the time we had to leave today we are just starting to wake Zoey up from her night of dreaming about clouds, bottles, shiny things and what ever else a 10 month old dreams about. Then it's on to breakfast, playing a little bit, getting dressed, playing a little bit more and finally heading off to daycare for the day. Of course with one or two diaper changes thrown in for good measure throughout the morning.

Doc Appointment

For me the appointment today is nothing more than a quick follow up on my recent blood work and to possibly fill one prescription that I have to take. Otherwise my hope is that it will be a fast appointment and I can get out of there and on to work as soon as possible. This way the sooner I am there the sooner we can leave tonight and begin our weekend of hanging out and doing whatever we want to do.

Although tomorrow we are supposed to be attending a birthday party for a friends daughter that we work with. Her daughter will be turning the big one year old and she wanted Zoey there too. They were always buds at daycare before she moved to another school so I think they will have fun seeing each other again.

Football Day

Even though I am not a fan of football whatsoever, other than watching my nephew play on occasion, with the Super Bowl happening this weekend they decided to have a dress up day today at Zoey's school. Everyone was encouraged to wear their favorite team colors or a football outfit of some type.

Had this been the day to dress up as your favorite motocross racer or something like that then it would have been no problem. As mentioned though I don't follow football or have a favorite team. If I had to choose one it might be the Cardinals since St. Louis is my hometown but now that they are Arizona's team it does not really work for me. I think the Rams are now the team for St. Louis, hell I don't know.

Anyway my point is that we did not want Zoey to be left out of the fun so we have a cool outfit for her that Grandma Kay bought her a while back. Basically it has leggings, a onesie top and bottom and a hat. All put together it makes her look like a mix between an old style football player with the leather helmets they used to wear. Or if you look at it without that in mind she looks like the football itself with the strings and all. Super cute I have to say even if it's for football!

Overall a really good day and it was a lot of fun dressing her up and getting all of the reactions from everyone that saw her today at daycare. Tomorrow she goes to her school friends birthday party so we will see how that goes.
