School & Pediatrician

So this morning was our first semi-rush morning as parents. We woke up late from lack of sleep last night and hitting the snooze too many times this morning which led to us rushing.

Hurry Up!

I jumped out of bed, made the first bottle of the day while Cicely got clothes together for Zoey and did the first diaper change of the day.

Next on the list was me making myself some coffee and jumping in the shower to get cleaned up for the day. Cicely took this time to feed kiddo and get her dressed. Once I was out of the shower we changed roles and she got ready while I got Oggy setup for the day.

Fuzzy Kid

On the way out Oggy was not a very happy boy because he was the only one that was not going with us. To make up for this I will have to take him for a nice walk tonight or maybe Cicely can today when she gets back home.

I will say that he was determined to go with us though. When Cicely and her mom walked out they left the door cracked just enough for Oggy to run out and say "hi guys I am ready to go". Unfortunately Cicely's mom, my mother-in-law, Xiomara had to grab him and do the hand-off to me so I could take him back inside the house.

I know that he is sad about it but there was no way to take him today. I left him with some tasty treats to tide him over until we get back home.

School

Today I am in school all day and will not be able to go to Zoey's first pediatric appointment. I am super bummed about it but there will be plenty more. Most likely they will only weigh her, measure and answer some of Cicely's questions that have been building up.

After Zoey's appointment all was well and her checkup went great! Her weight was as it should be and her length was as to be expected for her age.

First Bath

So once home Cicely checked out Zoey and noticed that the poor kiddo had blown out her diaper doing a good #2 after her not doing one for a day. Happy that she did it but the mess that it created for Cicely was crap (no pun intended).

Because of this it was time for babies first bath, well a sponge bath anyway. Zoey did not care for it as well surprisingly. She simply does not like being naked or cold and if it is a combination of those it pisses her off that much more ha ha. Although I hear that she is happy now that it is over!
