Girls Doctor Day

Well it's Monday morning already and the start of a brand new week. As you could tell from the title of today's post it's a day if doctor visits for us. This means lots of running around at a fast pace to get to the offices, check-in and begin the waiting process that goes along with it.

First Up Cizzle

So the first appointment of the day is for Cicely. We have to go downtown to her baby doctor and do her post labor follow up appointment. I am not 100% sure if these are routine or if they are doing one because she had all of the complications after the extreme preeclampsia set in.

Either way it will be great to get it checked off of the to-do list and verify that she is healing as expected. Plus it will give Cicely the opportunity to ask any questions she has been thinking up.

Next Stop Zoey

Once we are done with Cicely's doctor visit we need to waste a couple hours before heading all the way from downtown over to the south side of town for Zoey's checkup.

I have no idea what they are going to do today at her appointment but I do hope that they do not need to give her any shots or pricks on the foot. I know she has some of these coming up in the near future and I am not looking forward to them. It's a bit of a necessary evil that we all have to go through in life. Well unless you decide that it's not for you and you will risk sickness and infection that has been better avoided over the years via injections of vaccines.

No pokes or pricks today, but she did get measured and weighed. Today she weighted in at a 6 lbs 5 ounces which is awesome! They look for them to gain ate least an ounce per week so she is basically right no track. Not to forget, she has grown nearly another inch which makes 2 inches since birth! That's my girl, growing up to be big and strong already.

So to recap today she was 6 lbs 5 ounces, 20 inches long with a head circumference of 20

Last, Me

Thankfully I do not have any appointments to go to today so after we finish with Zoey's we can come back home. I may try to get into my dentist a week early so I don't have to go next week but that is up in the air. Plus I doubt they have anything on such short notice.

I guess it's worth a try though because next week going back to work the last thing I want to do is miss a lot of time right off the bat. If I am forced to, there is nothing I can do about it except go and be done with it. Everyone has appointments, doctor visits so on and I know that my studio would fully understand as they always have.

Alright I think that will have to be it for today's entry. I don't have a lot to rabble about unfortunately so rather than fill up white space I will end it here. If you're working today have a great Monday. On the other hand if you are off work today, enjoy it, it's supposed to be a really nice day once again with temperatures all the way up to 70°.
