Ducky

Well as you know it's the middle of the week and it's been a pretty smooth one so far - let's hope I did not just jinx it! Work has been fast paced but productive none the less which is always a plus. Today is looking to be more of the same, with a few less meetings than Monday and Tuesdays schedule had.

All in all the week has been "just ducky" and not filled with too many problems to speak of - gotta appreciate that! Hmm, really I don't know how I feel about the use of the word "ducky" but I really needed a title today and that was the first thing that came to mind. Mostly because as I was pondering the name I saw one of kiddo's bath toys sitting there and it just so happens to be a cute rubber duck.

Maybe A Baby?

One of the girls on my development team is pregnant as I have probably mentioned in the past and is due right around the same time as Cicely is. She is a week earlier than us to be exact.

Anyway yesterday afternoon I noticed her husband rushing about (he works there as well) and I did not see his wife in her cube. Now my gears are turning and I am wondering if she has had her little one yet? I hope she has not been in labor this entire time, yikes!

**Update: Just read this morning on Facebook that my coworker Ashley and her husband are now the proud parents of a beautiful bouncing baby girl. Her name is Isabelle and she is a cutie! Congrats to the new mom and dad! She was born last night at 9:37 PM and was 7 lbs 1oz and 20 inches long.

More nice weather today but I think it's the last day of it for this week according to the weather guessers. Second day that I have not needed to wear a jacket but only a hoody which is great!

I look forward to more of this weather in the coming months. I do hope it stays nice for Saturday though. Saturday marks the opening day for my old kart club. The have the annual tune-up race to get everyone ready for the season and make sure the track is in order, all of the equipment works, the tower, timing and scoring and so on as well. Always a fun race because there is no pressure.
