Sunday Already

Yesterday we ended up being down in Carson city for about three and half hours when we actually planned on only being there for about an hour and a half. It was okay though we got to hang out with mom while she had her lunch then we went outside to the courtyard to get some sun but it was a little too cold for her. Around 3:15 PM Kelly showed up with Cameron and Dan and so they hung out with her for a few more hours.

All in all it was a successful trip and it was good seeing that she was happy. Granted she did cry a little bit but I think it's just an emotional thing she is going through which I completely understand.

Kelly also had purchased and brought down more clothes for her which will be great. Kelly also stopped by moms condo and picked up her radio, some personal things that would make her new home feel more homelike. For example; a blanket she loves, some of her favorite pajamas as well as a couple pictures of Nemo. Hopefully these belongings will help her settle in more comfortably.

Around The House

Today Cicely and I need to focus on getting more stuff done in her room. Well her studio room that will now become Zoey's room. We planned to get a lot done yesterday but after staying down in Carson for so long it just was not possible.

Cicely actually has some additional motivation now because if we don't get it done soon, her step mom Kay has said she is going to come by and essentially do it with her and for her, LOL! Not something that Cicely wants.

I mean she would totally appreciate it but at the same time she has so much stuff that she really needs to organize it as she goes through it. With other people helping her it would not be possible. Part of the reason she kicks me out of the room every single time I try to help even the slightest.

**Update: So we managed to get a lot done today as far as getting stuff transferred from Cicely's studio into the room we will be sharing now with baby on the way. Cicely does not feel like she made much progress but I disagree - we are doing pretty good now and only have to mess with mostly the smaller stuff this week and coming weekend.

On With It

Alright on with the day before it gets away from us. Oh!, I ordered myself a new electric water kettle this morning that should be here middle of next week. It really sucks spending another $50 on something that I just spent $50 on one a year ago so let's hope this new brand and model lasts a lot longer.

Based on the reviews on Amazon most people have had theirs and have used them to 2 - 5 times a day with no problems. The average length of time they have owned this model has been from 3 to 6 years which is a good sign.

Okay for real this time - enough out of me. It's prime time to get my butt in gear as I always say. Hopefully your Sunday is treating you well and if you are off work tomorrow for Veterans Day well then you suck because I am not.
