Hoppin'
Once up and moving Cicely immediately realized that she was crazy hungry and craving breakfast and needed it NOW ha ha. As I have mentioned many times before, I know better than to deny a pregnant woman her cravings so off to IHOP we went.
I was not in the mood for breakfast so I picked something off of the lunch menu. One great thing about places like Denny's and IHOP is that you can get pretty much anything on the menu at any time except for a select few things that show up on the dinner menu's.
The cool part is that we were told that baby now is able to taste things that mom is eating. It's also a great time to eat more fruits and veggies because the chances are better that she will like those food later if experienced now through the embryonic fluid. Pretty friggin' amazing!
Unfortunately Zoey's momma was craving McDonald's last night so that was babies first taste of fast food I guess, baaaad momma! :)
Errands
Once satisfied with a full stomach it was time to run some errands. We had to return a couple pairs of maternity pants that I bought Cicely because she is using these wraps instead so she is able to continue to wear her normal pants. Anyway returning those 2 pairs means $75 back in the bank account to go towards more stuff on our Zoey list.
Next it was Home Depot yet again to get a few more bags of rock for the side of the house. Kind of a pain in the ass doing it with bags but it made the most sense for this project. While there I had to get some one light bulb for the bathroom as well as one for the refrigerator. I can't believe the one that is in there has lasted over 12 years and is just now starting to flicker a little.
Back Home
After all of this it's back home and as usual trying to get shxt done. So far another Saturday with no bass playing or heli flying. Sucks to be honest but hard to get in the mood when there is more important things on my plate. Actually I am always in the mood I think that it's more about my level of focus not being there if my mind is wandering thinking about other to-dos.
Last but not least by any means I need to send a shout-out to my in-laws, Cicely's step-mom Kay and her dad, Dan. Congratulations on 22 years of marriage! I wish you the best and look forward to watching you enjoy the next 22+ years!
