92 Temperature

Up at 4:00 AM with a headache that felt like a bucking bronco was inside my head trying to get out. Not fun, I knew where this was headed as I have been here many times before, usually every few months +/-. The result would be puking, diarrhea, temperature fluctuations or a combination of things.

This time is was a little different. I was burning hot, sweating like I ran a marathon in the dead of summer in the south - wearing a parka no less. My temperature was steadily dropping as well. Started out not so bad around 96.1 but within the time-frame of maybe an hour at most I was already down to just above 92 degrees and feeling it every bit.

Cicely and Oggy took really good care of me and made certain that I was back in bed as soon as possibly, getting warmed up and hopefully on the path to healing.

As luck would have it I managed to doze off here and there for a few minutes between temperature checks and making sure I was tucked in. The get your ass out of bed and go to work music came on and I wanted no part of it. I ended up decided it would be best to go into work and get through the day since I did feel 100% better, just did not feel 100%.

Most of today I have had some gnarly indigestion - which I have not had for a really long time. A slight headache that has lingered all day and just an overwhelming feeling of being exhausted. At least it's Friday and I can get some rest tonight and tomorrow as I need. I just hope for no more nights like last night for a good long time.

Put A Fork In Me, I'm Done

With that, I am going to end today's entry as this is much longer than anticipated. Just not in the writing mood because I am so weak and tired still. Better days will come, they always do and I will greet them with open arms. Until then, I hope you had an awesome Friday!

Photo: Since I could not find a photo of my thermometer and I did not feel like taking a photo of one this morning, here is one I found and tweaked to look more like mine during the wee-hours of the morning today.
