Toasty Saturday

So finally it's summer outside, pushing about 83 degrees at the time I am writing this post. Looks like as usual we skipped right past spring and jumped into the heat of a Nevada dry summer. No I am not bitching, it's better than shoveling snow anyway of the week.

Garage Work

So I have not yet finished up my shed and garage project but I consider it a work in progress after-all. Today we are going to run to Sears over in Sparks and pick up 2 more tool chests that I ordered to put under the workbenches that we purchased last weekend. I still have one to assemble so that is at the top of my to-do list today.

Once all of this stuff is done it is going to be extremely awesome. Lots of storage space and I can finally separate tools into categories like electrical, wood, auto, masonry and so on. It will be nice in a big way. Plus once I get through all of the closets in the house there will be even more storage available inside.

Indian

So having Indian food pretty much every day of the week last week was apparently not enough. We went out and had Indian food downtown when we went to pick up the toolboxes and it hit the spot in a big way as it always does.

We also used the opportunity for Cicely to pick up some money from a customer and friend that was planning to be downtown around the same time - cool! Saves us a trip back downtown.

Dip Shxt Drivers

So apparently we missed the memo that today is "drive like a dip shxt" and only if you are a complete dip shxt that has no idea how to drive, where you are going or what lane to be in while the opposite blinker is blinking away. Holy crap was it an frustrating time out on the road and I only had to be the passenger this trip. Thank good things that Cizzle is much more level headed. I would have completely gone ape shxt.

That's It

Yep it's time to put a fork in this entry. Tomorrow is moms day and we are supposed to go over to moms for a little while and meet my sister over there. I am a little nervous because mom has been dealing with some bad dementia issues, losing a lot of weight and memories. All things bad set aside I worry she will not remember or recognize me or Cicely when we get there. It's been about 6 or 9 weeks since we last saw her.

Anyway, enjoy the Saturday doing whatever it is you might be doing. I plan to have a productive day so long as my stoopid lumbar will hold out!
