Mega Progress

What a great day all around. Up and out of bed early as to not waste any of my limited time away from cube life. Great way to start any day.

Shed & Garage Project

So I am happy to finally report that I made some mega progress with both the shed and garage this weekend, especially today. I managed to get the organization wall put up and started moving stuff from the garage to the shed finding a nice place for most everything to be hung.

I did run out of one type of bracket so we had to head over to Home Depot and pick up a few more as well as return a few of the ones that I thought I needed but ended up not working out so good. I even added a couple cool little baskets so we can leave things like gardening and work gloves in them for easy access when we need them.

Still quite a bit left to do in the garage to get things to be more organized in the toolboxes but that takes time to really plan out so I am kinda saving it for last on my to-do list.

Even managed to use the saw my dad gave me as well as the drill press to make short work of some of the drilling, countersinking and cutting that needed to be done.

Otherwise

Other than that it is pretty much your average Sunday. Managed to get a little sun tanning session in early in the afternoon which felt really nice since it has been so crummy out.

Tonight was grocery shopping, cutting my hair and laundry along with all the other things to prepare for a shiny new workweek. I think that about wraps it up for this entry - oh I did manage to get about 1/2 hour of helicopter flying practice in as well on the simulator so that was a groovy extra added bonus to the day!

We did not get the chance to watch Doctor Who from yesterday yet because we are trying to finish up Eureka - only 2 more episodes to go then it's all over, boo! Time to find another show after that I guess.
