201

Holy shxt, it seems like it was not that long ago I was writing that it was my post number 100 and here we are at number 201 today. I will say it has felt like it was taking a long time, at times, because it can be really hard to find the few extra minutes to jot down a little about a given day or the days happenings.

No matter I have made it to the 200 mark and I am stoked about that. If I were still writing in this blog as well as my personal one I would probably be up near 600 entries I think in that one. It's ok though, it was a total pain in the ass trying to do them both everyday.

Once I hit a year, or 365 entries in this one I may at some point cut it to every other day or only a couple times a week. Really it will depend on what is going on I guess. Most of us are in a routine and our weeks don't change that much day to day for the most part.

I am more about writing more content than simply page filler as my intent is to look back at this one day should I have the desire, and most likely cringe at the entries or chuckle at what seemed to be important or stressful at the time.

Monday

Otherwise it's just the start of a new week, me sitting in a gray walled box developing games.

Speaking of my gray box - I still need to get my cubicle finished because my walls are all jacked up, I have tabletops in weird locations and a massive doorway that should be a short wall and a privacy wall.

On top of it we need the overhead lights turned off. Getting used to working in a cave-like environment the past 20+ years makes even the slightest amount of overhead light not only annoying but almost painful to the eyes.

Cizzle

Happy to report that Cicely's forearms and wrists are finally feeling much better today. That makes me really happy because she was in a lot of pain and pretty miserable on Friday night. They are still a bit sore and one is showing some blotchy bruising but otherwise no breaks or bad sprains - woot!

Redline Bike

A friend of mine at work that I chat with all the time about skateboards from back in the day, bikes and related took on a really cool project a few years back.

Basically he came across his old Redline BMX bike in his parents garage and decided he wanted to see if he can restore it back to what it once was and possibly improve upon it with chrome and stuff. Even though this will make it more of a show piece rather than one you want to ride I think it's a friggin' sweet project.

Anyway talking to him Friday I guess it's finished and he was going to bring it in so I could check out his creation - I can't wait to see it! Problem is, things like his project make me want to take on projects of my own!

Pivot

Alright time to screw the cap on today's post and continue on with Monday. I still have the gym ahead of me and tons of development so it's looking to be a productive day and a great start to the workweek. I hope yours is the same!
