Art Craft Quarterly

FINALLY it's supposed to be a nice sunny day, hitting 80 by mid-day even. Then by the start of next week we are jumping into the fire, it will be in the 90's from then on from the looks of it.

Art Craft Meeting

So once again I am at a loss for interesting topics to rabble about due to limited time. Normally I would do my entry while Cicely is driving if short on time, but today we take my car.

The majority of my day is going to be busy busy. Later this afternoon we have our quarterly art and craft meeting. Most of them have not been very eventful to the point they made us not want to attend. But we are going to go again and see if they have improved at all.

The idea behind them is really cool. The goal is to get art, engineering, technical artist, math, game design and everyone else together to just talk about various techniques and development procedures. This is to get everyone on the same page, brainstorm ideas and just have a good time learning about other positions to make our job and other peeps jobs better.

The problem is it has not been like that in the past it has been more of a hangout session and watch slide shows, boring! I have much more important things I can be doing with my day.

No matter we are going to attend and see how it goes. It's an hour away from work if nothing else which may be good for the mind and soul.

**Update: The meeting was fucking lame, but at least we got a free stainless steel mug.

That should do it for today. I have to get back at it so I can be ready for the meeting this afternoon. Not to mention tomorrow will be a busy day for me with additional training and other things going on. But at least it's Friday and I can roll into a nice sunny weekend.
