Not much going on today, it's Sunday after-all and that means time to get some last minute rest and take care of as much as we can before the work week starts. There are always big plans on Friday for the weekends and more times than not only a small amount of them actually get started and even fewer get done. What's worse is a stop at a home store to pick up a few things can turn into more projects for the weekend if you see more things to do or that you've been wanting to do.
With spring it's even more difficult to look the other way because of the flowers and related everywhere. It's inspiring to see and motivates you to buy them all the while forgetting how long it takes to plant them all. This usually happens when you unload them at home and realize you went way overboard on your purchase.
We have not done this yet this year although we usually do try and get them to plant around the trees in the backyard. Not only does it look awesome it smells really good too when I am out there mowing the lawn and there is a nice breeze picking up the scent.
Otherwise as mentioned in the title it's all about 'Sunday Stuff' today. We will see how much we get done and how much we have to put off for this week or next weekend. On the bright-side I guess we are a little bit ahead of the game already. I pulled out the ladder and Cicely vacuumed the big ceiling fan in the living room as well as polished it. I also lowered Zoey's mattress finally, this was something that was worrying me and I kept putting it off.
Today when she put a knee up as though she was going to climb out I knew that enough was enough and it was time to do something about it before she fell out and got hurt or worse, possibly broke something. I dunno what I would do if that happened other than feel terrible for a very long time!
The day was super nice for cycling as well. Almost everyone I know that cycles was out riding today racking up the miles. I on the other hand was not able to get out and enjoy the one warm and windless day of the season so far, figures huh! I did get on the trainer for a solid 20+ miles late this evening though so that counts for something.
Alright, that will be enough out of me for the day. Time to dig back in and get as much done as possible before the work week is here again full force!
