I won't get mushy or lie and say there have been no bumps in the road, there have been and that is not a bad thing. It's better to approach them, understand what you're dealing with based on the bump and get up, over and past it. If there is anything that I have learned its that everything usually seems much smaller, less critical and more times than not less important the next day, week, month or year. This is not to say that we are not important to one another, this is only in relation to dealing with relationship problems or differences of opinion.
Honestly, how many times have you or could you reflect back to situations and think about how much of a waste all of the drama was? More times than not would be my guess, though to each their own I suppose as I realize everyone is different and some women as well as men can hold a nasty grudge!
Anyway, I have no regrets other than I wish we did not work and could spend our days traveling the world together, now with Zoey and Oggy as well. I am thankful we have good jobs and although stressful at times, very laid back schedules for the most part and a very people oriented company. Is it perfect like my Cicely? No, it's not, what do you expect when you have 13,000 employees! It's difficult enough managing a home with two adults, a toddler and a fuzzy kid!
I love you so very much Cicely, you truly are my best friend, wife, mother of our awesome and beautiful daughter as well as a great dancer and drinking buddy! I look forward to many more years of happiness and learning about life and the world around us together, as we build or family and grow old, remain young at heart and most importantly, together!
Photo: Because I do not usually post photos of myself or Cicely, at times of Zoey or the fuzzy kid, today I am posting a shot of the weather yesterday, looking southwest. It stormed most of the day, lightly in the valley thankfully. The mountains did receive well over a foot of snow and currently have restrictions for driving - yep, spring is here!
