Over The Hump

Well it's past midweek and looking forward to the weekend. Today is the last full day before the weekend starts which is awesome news. Tomorrow the entire studio is leaving around noon to head over to the IMAX theater in Sparks to watch the new Godzilla movie. It will be a great way to start the weekend and I will finally get to check out the new theater. The crummy part is that Cicely is in the other studio so she will not be going with me this time, boo!

Kiddo

So Zoey seemed to be OK all night before bed and did not puke at all. Yesterday she did one more small puke, not projectile, but enough to make Cicely have to change clothes.

The rest if the night she was fine though as mentioned and had no issues while sleeping through the night either. This morning she did not burp much and did spit up a small amount, which worries Cicely, but I just reminded her that kids do spit up and it's OK. She is just worried, and for good reason, that Zoey may get booted from daycare again if she has another tummy issue after eating.

Hopefully not, we plan to give them more specific instructions so they keep her sitting up for 10 - 15 minutes after eating and possibly only give her 2 ounces at a time instead of 4 ounces. We switched the formula back to one she has been on the longest as well and hope that it will help her feel better as well.

Fingers and toes are crossed for luck so now all we can do is wait and see how she does. If she pukes again and we have to go get her, oh well that is all part of being a parent.

Cizzle's MTB

So we still have not heard from the bike shop regarding Cicely's new mountain  bike and the tubeless setup I am having them add on. To be honest it's a little bit frustrating because I know exactly how to do it and I am new to all of this mountain bike stuff whereas they are a bike shop!

We are going to call them this morning and if it is not done we may just pick it up and get some money back from them for the upgrade. It's not worth waiting much longer even though it's not like we need the bike ASAP or anything. It's more of the principle of it. I know they are trying their best but it's time to admit defeat or brag about success because I am ready to move that story on to the next chapter as soon as possible.

Stupid Gasoline? Nope - Stupid People

So this morning I decided that I would swing by the gas station and fill up the car so I would not have to worry about it in the morning before my doctor appointment or for the rest of the weekend for that matter. I pulled up to a spot that I normally would not have because it had a puddle. I figured it was was only water, formed by the huge amount of rain we had the past couple days. No, not the case, it was diesel fuel or possible normal gasoline I am not sure. I guess some dumb-ass managed to spill it all over the place and rather than let the station know what had happened they just left it as-is and when on with their day, thanks asshole!

All I know is that I cannot get the dam smell out of my favorite pair of shoes now as it seems to be embedded into the soles. Thankfully I had a change of shoes at work although its a little silly wearing my gym shoes. I found several articles online to try and get the odor out of the rubber soles but I dunno if it will work or not. I will try this weekend and see how it goes. Dammit! Guess it's time to get online and get a new pair "just in case".

About It

Other than that there is not much going on today. At work I am trying to get the schedule setup for FY16 and get names assigned to the games currently on the list for at least Q1 and Q2 but it would be nice if I could do all the way from Q1 through Q4 and tweak it as needed throughout the remainder of the year.

So with that I had better get to it otherwise nothing is going to get done. Hopefully your week is treating you fair and you are ready to dive into a long 3 day holiday weekend as well!
