Agile / Scrum Bootcamp; Day 1

Well I woke up on time and managed to get to work in a decent amount of time as well this morning even with the crappy early morning traffic. I can honestly say that the drivers out early are overall much better than those that come out around 9:30 or 10:00 AM on weekdays.

I forced myself to go to sleep by 10:00 PM last night which was kinda hard to do. I am used to staying up until at least 11 or midnight most nights. I knew if I did last night then today would be a disaster in the making. I cheated a little bit by taking a small dose of NyQuil Zzz to help knock me out quicker, worked perfectly and no sleep hangover this morning!

Agile / Scrum

Today is day one of our on-sight Agile/Scrum process training. There are a total of 2 days of all-day training. It's going to be rough but well worth it once the certification is under my belt. A few on my team have taken it when I was unable to so there will be 3 of us that are certified and can teach / mentor the rest of my team on the process.

All in all I think it's going to be a really good class but I am excited for it to be over with. I have a busy 3 days this week with this training and then UNR classes on Friday to wrap up the week. Things should start tapering off a bit after I hope.

Cicely's Bike

We were still not able to get Cicely's bike yesterday. The kit for the tubeless setup was not working as expected and would not properly hold air. I am not sure what other things they are going to try today but I guess they have some ideas but need to make a call to the company that makes the tubeless conversion kits.

No big deal really, she was not planning to ride this weekend anyway so it's all good. I may go scope out an area that I found and see if it's a good ride or not. I have not been able to do any rides yet with the bad weather and busy weekends but plan to this weekend one way or another!
