Typical Tuesday

For the most part today is and has been a pretty typical Tuesday as far as things go. The workday has had no formal meetings, just a few impromptu chats in my cube, over instant message and that sort of thing which is right up my alley. Tonight I will rush home to cut the grass, front and back which will easily take me into dinner time and the lay-low period of the day.

Cizzle

Cicely has to get home and grab the "top secret" dress she has been working on for the upcoming fashion show she has been asked to be a part of. Her model will be there tonight and it will be the first fitting on her, the others have only been on the bust she has at home so this will be a big help. Once she has that done I am sure it will make her feel a whole lot better and take some stress off of her plate knowing that she is going the right direction with it size-wise.

That Does It

Otherwise it has been a pretty typical day and there is not a lot going on to write about. The weather is still crappy, but that is supposed to change by the end of the week. At which time we should be in the 100's, where-as today and yesterday we have only just dove into the 70's so that will be a bit of an unwelcome heatwave. I guess it could be worse. Vegas and Phoenix will be in the triple digits most of the week if not all, ranging from 112 all the way up to 119, no thanks! If you live in those cities and have a pool, stay in it - otherwise, drink lots of fluids and stay in the air conditioned buildings as much as you can - I sure don't envy those temperatures.

Tomorrow we will do our usual run over to moms to take her some dinner as well as be sure that she is doing ok and does not need anything that she is unable to get on her own. It's always nice to go over and visit and check on her, but I will say it makes for a really long day in the middle of the week. Wednesdays start out early for us because of meetings I have, then by the time we get off work, get to moms, hang out for a little while then make it back home it's nearly 9:00 most weeks. Oh well it's all part of life right?
