Fashion Diva

Managed to get everything done that I wanted to last night after work as far as yard work is concerned. I had planned to fly a little on the simulator as well but by the time I showered, fed Oggy and ate dinner I was ready to veg on the couch, reclined back watching TV for an hour or so.

Copper

We see the previews all the time for the show titled "Copper", and I guess it's fairly popular. I broke down and watched an episode last night on Netflix and it was ok, not entirely my kind of show so I don't know how many more, if any, I will continue to watch. Generally if they don't have me itching to see "what's next" I don't go much further than the first one.

It's alright at least now I know what the hell the show is about, we always wondered because at the end of our show we would see some previews for it. Not to forget that I don't really need another show to watch right now since Dexter is starting back up this Sunday I think for its final season. Yippee and booo! All wrapped into one!

Cizzle Show

So Last night Cicely went and did her dress fitting on her model and I guess it worked out really well. The model is a little bit bigger than she thought so she will have to add just a little bit in the hip area but no big deal. She was really excited!

Afterwards she did a couple interviews for some upcoming promotions for the show and she said that she was really excited and nervous at the same time. But she knows that she needs the experience doing interviews. I think she probably did very well but I know it's nerve-racking.

When I used to do interviews with the Sparks Tribune after winning races I would always get tongue-tied or say things that sounded good in my head but then when they were down on print I was like "oh shxt that does not sound right", LOL - it's ok as it's all part of the experience.

Anyway, fast forward to this morning and she received an email that has her personalized headlining flyer in it, WOOT! So excited for her and it is such a sweet ass thing she is doing to promote her jewelry, clothing and accessories.

It's nearly impossible to put into words how proud I am of her accomplishments to date so I won't try to, just know its like universe size proud.

Oh and did I mention? Don't think so, that she is going to be in Fab once again as well! How friggin' cool is that? I know she lived working with them. They were super helpful, organized and friendly so she is excited and honored to be a part of it again.

Mom

After work tonight we head over to moms to check in on her, take her some dinner and hang out for a little while to break up her week a little bit while making sure that she is otherwise ok. It makes for a long day since we show up early for game development meetings in Wednesdays. Oh well, it's good for us to visit with her and it will beak up our week as well. After today it's all downhill for a couple days until next week when we do it all again.

Fade Out

That does it for this entry. It's finally getting warmer out and as mentioned yesterday, more like a heatwave by the end of the week. I need to remember sunscreen this weekend, last weekend I managed to get pretty pink just from our walk around the Sparks Marina. It faded nicely into a tan, but now I have this awkward tan area only where my tank top was ha ha - ahh summer!
