Dog Days Of Summer

Early start as usual for a Friday so we can get into the studio. Normally we would have our game engine meeting but it was cancelled today because of everyone is so busy. With the short week next week because of July 4th and most everyone, including us, taking he 5th off as well to make it a 4 day weekend we all need to get as much done as possible.

Hot, Hot, Hot

So we were in sweatshirts, hoodies and basically fall weather wear the past 3 weeks which for June is crazy even with our wacky Nevada weather that changes every couple hours the majority of the time.

Anyway, obviously from my iPhone weather app photo again today it's no longer fall clothing weather. It's pretty much get as naked as you can to stay cool and not get arrested weather.

I worry about all of the fuzzy kids out there that are stuck in an uncovered area or worse stuck in a car while their owners go into a store or the mall. I will tell you right now that if I ever see that I will break the fuckin' window.

X Games

So this Sunday my step cousin is going to be on TV racing in this years X Games. I have not been filling it this year, but plan to watch his race. His name is Justin Soule and I think he still races motorcycles (desert) for Kawasaki. Cool stuff, best of luck I hope you kick some ass! Oh and where is my autographed T-shirt? Still waiting for that to come in the mail.

What If All Athletes Were Treated Like Skateboarers

This is such a true to form ad that Nike put out. I was part of the "skateboarding is not a crime" crew and we were hassled, bullied and everything in between at every turn. At least now there are skate parks and places to go, we had to either build ramps or find a great place to session. Still, time has gone by but the respect is still missing for the most part. Great video I must say.

All other things being equal it's Friday and we are ready to dive into the weekend and get things done. I want to start getting ready to paint the garage, fly my Nano helicopter and whatever else that I want to do.

We are planning to stop by the Apple store after work so I can get another Apple TV. I want to put the new one in the house, the other one in the garage so I can get all sorts of media out there. I have not decided off I want a TiVo out there yet or not so I can stream NASCAR races because it will require special setup for the wireless.

For now a $99 Apple TV will do just fine. I can watch Netflix, play Pandora, YouTube Nd if I have my NASCAR races or motorcycle races on my iPad from the TiVo then I can stream to the Apple TV and bobs your uncle.
