Marina Walk

Well it's finally Saturday and we were able to sleep in a little bit which was nice although Oggy started licking and pawing me around 7:00 AM to make sure I would not forget about his breakfast. C'mon fuzzy kid, have I ever forgot about ya'? Nope, never and never will.

Marina

Because we have not been able to take Oggy out and about much lately as we usually do this time of the year we decided last night that we would take him to the Sparks Marina this morning before it gets too hot outside and miserable for him to be out walking.

As usual he was whimpering, hootin' and hollerin' the entire way there with anticipation. He usually knows that we are going somewhere based on our clothes or the things we bring. Then once in the car he pays very close attention to the routes we take to determine our destination the best he can.

Once there it was the usual gotta smell this, not better smell that oh wait what was that noise, what is.... Squirrel! After 10 minutes or so we were on the path around the marina and he was in his zone checking things out and having a great walk. So much fun to see him so excited and happy. We need to do it more like we use to, the busy schedule we have had has made it pretty tough tough.

Back Home

Once we were back home it was time to have some lunch and for me to get my ass out into the garage and work on my projects. My goal is to get the TV mounted today along with the wall track for the cabinets. It may be a little much for one day but I figured I should have a goal none-the-less. Not to mention I still have 3 more of the cabinets to build which takes about an hour or so each.

Cool Down

I think that will do it for today. So far the weekend is off to a great start and is nice and relaxing as I hoped. My plan is to keep it that way and get a lot done as well.
