Rain

Since about 5:00 this morning it has been raining out. Not a crazy downpour or anything, but just enough to hear the water running through the gutters and drains while we were trying to sleep. It's actually kind of nice to have it since all of our building and deliveries are done it forces us to stay inside and get some stuff done around the house.

Furniture

So we might trade our newly bought and delivered furniture for some new stuff this week. We absolutely love the new sectional and it actually fits in the room great! But the problem is that as nice as it is, it is actually a little bit uncomfortable around the neck and head. There is a sort of built in pillow bump that actually sticks out a little too far and makes you feel like you are putting your chin to your chest even when reclined slightly or a lot. It's a real bummer to be honest.

We put a lot of time and thought into it and the furniture was always pretty comfortable so we did not really think about the headrest area being an issue. In the store you sit down and lay down different ways but you don't really recognize certain things until you have watched a show for an hour. I just hope we can find something that we like and that fits in the area.

We will probably lose the kick-ass electric recline that we have now because most of the others we like do not have it, they are the manual type. No biggie though if they are comfortable I suppose. It's just really nice to be able to recline a little or a lot or anywhere in-between if you want. The "customer satisfaction" area on their website says we have 14 days to change our mind one time so I am hoping there are no hidden costs. Delivery was free so even if we have to pay a small fee it will be worth it to get something we will enjoy for many years to come.

If the new stuff ends up being a little bit cheaper we may get our end tables and new dining table while we are at it and have it all delivered in that delivery. I think it should all work out ok. I don't care if it's cheaper, the same or more I only want to be comfortable on it after a long workday.

Racing

Today I will kick back and watch racing most of the morning and into the early afternoon I think. I have NASCAR racing in Phoenix and supercross racing in my hometown of St. Louis Missouri. So for me it will be and awesome way to spend a rainy day. I will probably play some bass as well and make sure to get some cardio mixed into my day at some point since I can take the iPad out and watch the races through my TiVo Stream.

Sign-Off

Have a great Sunday whatever you happen to be doing. This coming week is looking to be another busy one at work, mix that in with trying to get our furniture exchanged and start to prepare to paint the inside of the house and it all starts to add up pretty quick to fill up the days. It's ok, it helps to pass the time and keep us on our toes. Don't want us getting bored now do we?
