Friggin' TCG's

Yea I know "what the hell is a TCG and why am I pissed about them?". Basically a TCG is a "trading card game". Think of something as simple as UNO or Go Fish although those are not really trading cards as all decks are the same and the dealing determines the uniqueness of each round no matter what decks you purchase. But the game-play can be related in a sense. Turn based and cards being more powerful than other cards. That sort of thing.

Sounds Simple So Why The Frustration

First things first - notice that I used the word "frustration"? See how it is spelled people? Now quit f'n saying it as "flustration" because it makes me think you are an idiot - there is no "L" in there so quit trying to put it in there. Flustered is fine, flustration is not.

Ok with that out of the way lemme explain. I decided to download an iPad game by the name of "Order & Chaos Duels". The game is similar to Magic and those types of games. It's actually pretty cool and well done but some of it simply makes no sense to me the moment that I start thinking it does make sense.

I took some time and watched a few YouTube videos about the game and most peeps encounter the same confusion I am running into. Because of this I was actually able to understand a few things that they found confusing, yet answered questions for me.

Most of the game-play is pretty straight forward but some of the opponents attacks on my main guy vs. my minions really pisses me off and makes me yell WTF MAN! So we will see how much longer I will try to figure it out. It's a large investment of time to learn one of these games much less be competitive. Really with that time I should be doing other things but I want to understand this game really bad for some reason. I guess it's because I have a soft spot that sucks me into games of this type. More on this later possibly if I continue to play and figure it out some more.

Weeks End

For us it's the end of the week, our Friday because of the Easter holiday on Sunday. My company is actually closed tomorrow for the most part. There will still be support groups here, but the majority of the game studios will not be here unless someone is trying to get ahead. At home we actually have a lot to do still regarding the painting project and can use the extra time. Not to mention Cizzle has a lot of work to do for her recent big order for her jewelry so there is never enough time in the day in her world at the moment.

Finished

Throwing the checkered flag on this entry for now. Time to dive back into work and get some shxt done. Sometimes our department gives us an early out on pre-holiday workdays so there is that potential today as well. Although I would have to hang out for a little longer.

I am working on color correcting one of my step-moms old photos of her daughter. It's a lot of work and I want it to look the best that I possibly can. Plus with 4 monitors at work it's much easier to work faster rather than scrolling and zooming like crazy on my MacBook Pro laptop at home.
