Monday Already

Nice long 3 day weekend for us and it seems as though it shot by in nothing flat once again. We did manage to get a lot of crap done but we also managed to create additional projects by doing this weekends projects.

Weekend Racing

There was a lot of great racing yesterday in both supercross and NASCAR. Neither of my guys came out on the top of the podium in the end but the both finished and had decent days overall. In supercross#7 James Stewart ended up in the #2 spot with Ryan Villipoto on top of the podium. In NASCAR #14 Tony Stewart ended up in 8th position with Carl Edwards taking the top spot on the podium for the weekend. Not bad at all for my guys considering the competition and the craziness of both events from pretty much start to finish.

RC Willey

We have to use our lunch today to run over to RC Willey and see about exchanging our furniture for another style that is more comfortable on the neck. As I mentioned yesterday it's a real bummer because we put so much effort into picking out the right color, size and features only to now have to do it again. The sectional couch is actually very comfortable, but at the same time it's not. It sort of makes you do a chin-to-chest sort of position whether reclined or sitting up.

Maybe I will add an update later as to how it all ended up going. On the plus side if we end up with our second choice we may be able to get the end tables, lamps and a new dining room table for nearly the same cost of just the current sectional. I just hope they can deliver it sooner that later so we don't mess up the current one.

*Update: So we were able to take a trip over at lunch and pick out some new furniture as well as have it delivered in just a couple days (Thursday to be exact) which is awesome (except for the fact its supposed to snow that day). We picked out a very similar sectional that is more comfortable to us in every way and otherwise essentially the same only now in leather.

We had to spend another $800 to make it all happen, but it will be something we like and it still fits in with the other furniture that we bought on the previous outing. All-in-all I am happy with our swap. Next on the list is an end-table and lamp, then a new dining table and chairs then it will be on to the bedroom furniture to update our dressers and armoire! I don't think it ever ends, does it? I mean if we have a kiddo one day we will have to decorate a baby room - ahh, but that will be fun!

Jump

Otherwise it's time to jump back into what is looking to be a busy, but productive start to the week. Hopefully your Monday is more of the same and helps you slide into a nice rest of the week!
