Cable
So the cable guy showed up at exactly 8:00 to do the "quick fix" to the cable and TiVo box combo. Just over 5 hours later he was finished, wow we felt bad that it took so long to get it figured out.
The short version is that after he tried 4 different cable cards, 2 converter boxes and a slew of other things it ended up that Charter was sending the wrong, well old and outdated channel signals to the house. Holy cow it was a sigh of relief and a F-me moment for all of us, especially him I am sure.
No matter it's all working great now and he did a much better job than I could have at staying super calm and collected over the frustrating ordeal. Thanks cable guy, Chris!
Shed
The guys from Tuff Shed showed up around 9:00 to start on the shed build and boy did they hustle. It only took 2 guys about 6 1/2 hours to build the entire thing from foundation to roof, interior shelving and so on. It turned out awesome and I can't wait to start putting stuff into it and cleaning up the inside of the house to make space. Thanks Tuff Shed guys!
Furniture
The guys from RC Willey showed up around 4:30 to deliver and setup the new furniture. The process only took about 15 minutes and they were gone. Looks awesome and we are super happy with our choices. Thanks furniture guys!
Days End
So dad came by during all of this and hung out for a few hours and chatted with us. By the time he left Cyndi was getting off work so we decided to meet them for some dinner and margaritas at a local Mexican restaurant. Sounds great to me because I am friggin' hungry! It's been a really busy day and we are ready to chill.
I should also mention I had to go into work for a last minute team lead meeting I did not want to miss. So yea a pretty crazy day and margaritas and Mexican will be the perfect way to cap it off. Have a great Friday!
