Painting Day 3

So day 3 of painting is upon us and it's starting to kick my ass as well as Cicely's. My only thought at the moment is "are we done yet" and "why the hell didn't anyone talk me out of this insanely massive project"?

Beach House

The color for today is "Beach House", again from Sherwin-Williams and the Emerald brand of paint. We pretty much buttoned up the living room and kitchen last night and are on to the rest of the house starting today. Tons of walls to be done that's for sure.

I started the day with over 2 hours of setting the entertainment niche back to the way it was. Sounds easy enough but it involves lots of zip tying wires, neatly running all of the cable and more importantly making it look great while staying functional with little to no visible wires showing. It's a but of a curse I have, being "particular" about the way things are done and organized. Some call it "anal", I just like to think of it as "done right".

Lunch

For lunch today we decided to give ourselves a little treat for working so hard on the painting project. So lunch consisted of a few of the new Cool Ranch Doritos tacos from Taco Bell. Wow, they are really friggin' good. I think I like them even more than the other Doritos taco's that started this whole craze. I just have to watch eating too many of them or I will be a couple pants sizes bigger in no time!

Let It Dry

That is enough for this entry. Finishing up the rest of the painting for today and then back at it tomorrow bright and early. Until then it's nearing time to have dinner and then watch a few episodes of Eureka on Netflix to regroup and rest. I am already really sore from this project - too funny!
