More smoke today from people doing controlled burns yesterday and early this morning. We think we are just getting away from the dirty air as we drive to the South side of town to get to work but what do we see in the distance near our office? A plume of smoke from more controlled burns, ugh! I guess on the bright-side if it helps reduce the crazy fires we get during the summer months then I am all for it. Nothing worse than seeing those fires get so close to peoples homes! Puts a real pit in my stomach each and every year.

Pi Day

I am sure that everyone is well aware that today is national Pi Day. Whether you are into the kind of pie that has a warm cherry or cinnamon apple filling, or the kind that mathematically makes cool shxt happen then today is the day for the celebration of it. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Work

So in reality this is going to be a pretty short and uninteresting post for most, myself included as I have almost nothing to write about. Yesterday was pretty crazy at work and today is going to be more of the same with a training session thrown in to break up the first part of the day. I am ok with that as I am a sucka for learning anything new. The whole "knowledge is power - get some" thing I guess.

Ship-It

On that note I am going to end it for now. Should something worthy come up between now and tomorrow I will add it as I generally do. For now, enjoy Thursday and look forward to the extra time spent with family and friends over this coming weekend. That is what I plan to do!
