So today marks the final day of our painting project, woot! We still need to get the house back in order and rehang artwork and that sort of thing. Everything will hopefully buttoned up by the end of next weekend if all goes as planned (which we all know it rarely does).
Chilling Out
Relaxing a little today. Dad stopped by for a little while and brought me a killer drill press and radial arm saw that I am in need of. Great gift for sure, he is not using them much anymore and I can really use them and so can Cicely so it's perfect timing. I just hate taking anyone's tools because it seems the second you do then they need them for a project. Luckily pops lives just around the block so he is welcome to stop by and borrow them anytime he wants.
Watching the supercross race, this time the boys are racing up in Toronto, Canada. At the same time I am trying to get a little bit motivated to do a few small tasks that I have on my list but to be honest, I am still friggin' exhausted! I have tomorrow as well, but it's NASCAR day and they are running out west in Fontana, California which is usually a really good race. I actually like the race in Sonoma in a big way as well, mostly because it's a road race and really separates the teams and their ability to setup for that type of race. That one should be coming up pretty soon I think.
Fashion Show
Cicely is on the south side of town doing a fashion show, an event to sell items as well as a collaboration with another designer. Wow, crazy if you ask me - that is a lot on her plate and I am sure she is feeling it but she will do awesome, she always does. I just hope she does not run out of energy like I have managed to. She worked just as hard as I have getting the house painted and has to be feeling the effects of our week long project.
It's also Cicely's sisters 21st birthday and she is going out to ring it in with whoever wants to go and party all night. I don't think Cicely will be up to it after her big night but if so that is ok by me. I will just hang out here at home with our fuzzy kid. I don't need a night of drinking and trying to keep up with the drinking ability of a 21 year old college student. I am a little older and wiser than that. No matter, happy birthday Danika I hope it is everything you want and hoped it would be. Oh and greasy food is great for hangovers!
Exit Stage Left
I think that is all for today. It's time for a little more relaxation and enjoying a nice Saturday. I keep thinking it's Sunday for some reason but lucky for me it's not and I have one more day of doing what ever I want before heading back to the machine on Monday. Oh and of course getting a filling done at the dentist before going into the office.
Speaking of work really fast, I guess there is a new company coming to the area that develops games specifically for the Indian gaming jurisdictions, might be interesting to see how many jump ship and if the new company will try to cherry pick anyone from my company. I am happy where I am at so I may just grab some popcorn and watch it all unfold.

Photo: Neighbor bought a car off eBay. I have had crazy and big deliveries like motorcycles but this is the first car we have seen delivered.
