Simply Thai
We made it home a little late last night because I could not get myself out of my chair at work yesterday. It was one of those "just a few minutes more" excuses that would turn into another hour.
Because if this it was too late to try and make something for dinner and we did not have anymore leftovers so Thai for dinner was the plan, yum! I friggin' love a big bowl of white rice with yellow chicken curry over it and some curry puffs on the side to soak up the juices before devouring.
Cicely went with her usual red curry with tofu instead of meat - which is also a great choice. She likes to have deep fried tofu cubes on the side with sweet and sour sauce for dippin'. I usually sneak a few of 'em when she is not looking. This is much more difficult than it sounds, she sorta guards them like a lioness with a freshly caught zebra!
Blade
I should have my new Blade helicopter delivered to me today later this afternoon. I don't know how much flying I will be able to do since it's the weekend that I need to finally quit putting off doing our taxes and just get them done.
Anyway the Blade will be a lot of fun and help me learn to fly. The Phoenix flight simulator I considered would have been sweet as well but a much bigger investment because I would need to get a windows box to run it, then use my TV as the monitor. That can now come next if I want to take the hobby to the next level at some point. Plus it's actually the path most experienced pilots recommend.
Chicken & Waffles
Someone brought in a bag of Lay's Chicken & Waffles potato chips to share with everyone today! Man those things are really friggin' good. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather have the real thing but I think that Lay's did an excellent job getting the taste accurate. The same person also brought in the Cheesy Garlic Bread flavor. I did not taste those but Cicely said they were great. Now we just have to find the Rooster Sauce (Sriracha) flavored ones! Anyway I am not sure who it was but a big shout out to them for sharing. We have been looking for them for awhile now.
Enjoy
I need to focus my attention back on kicking some ass on my projects now. Thai food was an awesome side effect of working late last night but its not a habit I want to start. Both because I would put on a shxt-ton of weight and need to spend more time in the gym but also because I don't want to get back into 90 hour work weeks while on salary!
On that note, I hope you kick your Friday in the ass as well and make the best of it that you can. Until tomorrow see-ya'!
