Gem Faire

Woke up early today so we could have my dads friends daughters furniture ready for her to come pick up. It was kinda sad to see it drive away as funny as that sounds. I have spent many hours on that couch. From recovering after many surgeries to late night out on the town hangovers it was ready for me to plant my ass and grow some roots!

Gem Faire

After the furniture was picked up we hung out with my dad for an hour or so to shoot the shxt. After we headed off to the Gem Faire at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino so Cicely could find some parts (aka "findings") she is in need of for projects and future ideas. Not really my scene but it's "my scene" if I am with her and she is happy and having a good time.

Errands

After the Faire it was time to run errands around town to get all of the supplies for our interior painting project we were supposed to start early this morning. Oh well that tends to be how these things go more times than not! Better to chill a bit then jump into it vs. being annoyed that we are missing other stuff because of it.

So it's off to Home Depot, Sherwin Williams and a slew of other places to try and get it all done in one trip. Later this week I need to go over to my dads and pick up a killer drill press, table saw and chop saw that he is giving me - sweet!

Hömage

Last but not least we made a pit stop over at a bakery that goes by the name of hömage. It's located in downtown Reno and has some awesome baked fresh daily treats that you won't find anywhere else around. It was a nice sugar rush with iced coffee to wash it down. I also enjoyed an asparagus, mushroom and Swiss baked bread. Yum! As a treat we bought a few extras and dropped them off to a friend that lives near the area.

All Done
