Our Kitten Is A Pony Now
Today marks the first day that Zoey will be in the Ponies full-time! I sure hope that she does twill in the class, meets lots of new friends and that sort of thing. Otherwise she could be very miserable and miss her old friends and teachers.
The bonus part is that will be moving up with other kids that she is now in the Kittens class with so that means she will not be alone for the transition. Honestly even if she was shy and nervous, my guess is that she would still jump right in and make friends fast. She has a great personality and seems to do so no problem.
Go and get them today Zoey, I know that you will do great and you will have no problems making new friends as well as learning to be part of the new schedule that they have in that class compared to the one that you are just now getting used to. My guess is that it really will not be that much different for you and you will only have to deal with it for a week or less before getting used to it.
Because you had audited the class all last week for several hours, then were jealous when you saw those friends outside, this tells me that you are already doing great, fitting in and enjoying the new challenges that will come with this classroom. We're always here for you, never forget that baby!
Work
The studio could be hit or miss this week depending on what all is going on or comes up. My senior manager is out on vacation to Alaska with his family and is the coming back and staying in Oregon for a week or so before he then returns to Reno to get back into the groove.
One of the other managers happens to be out during this time as well, but he should be back by the middle of next week. So for me and the one other manager that is left we may have a quiet week or we may end up with a really full week from the extra duties needed and things that need to be taken care of in a timely manner.
With That
I don't have anything else going on for the most part. My nose is still continuing to run like crazy today. I can only assume that its because of the cottonwood in the air as well as the amount of wind we've been having blowing around all the pollen.
Either way, it's driving me crazy and I know that if it's this bad for me, its probably 10x as bad for Cicely. She get sensitivities much more than I do during allergy season.
Let's hope it starts to fade away along with the little bit of a sunburn I managed to get this weekend even with wearing a slathering of sunblock. Otherwise, until tomorrow - have a great start to the week and push forward toward the next weekends or simply days with family.
Photo: The welcome sign for Zoey to start her new class today. She is getting big so fast and while it's awesome and I'm already so proud of her, it's hard to watch her not be our little baby girl still.
