Avengers Movie

Today is our movie day for the studio. We are going to see the opening showing of The Avengers at the iMax theater over in Sparks. I wish we were going to see it in the other theater because I've never been in that one, only the iMax once before to see Godzilla.

The seats are set-up as stadium seating and only recline back a small amount at best. They are thankfully a little bit wider and a little bit deeper than most theaters, they are leather as well which makes them a bit more comfortable.

In the other theater they are full recliners with a tray table on the side that flips up to allow you to set your snacks, beer, wine, drinks and stuff on. From what I've heard they are extremely comfortable and most people that go there no longer want to go to any other theater.

It's a little more expensive to go to bother the iMax and the other one compared to a normal theater, although I think that we are only talking maybe a dollar or two if that to go to the nicer one we went to. Heck we had to buy over 160 tickets today for both studios as well as give everyone a gift card for $10 worth of concession items. All said and done the event had to of cost us around $4,260! That is just crazy if you ask me although very much appreciated.

A great way to spend a Friday and a way that would be awesome to do every Friday here on out to be honest. I know that would never happen and in business would not make sense to spend that kind of money for morale. Great day and a relaxing way to start a weekend.

Going to be super nice to get out of the studio for a few hours, see a movie, eat popcorn, hot dogs, have a beer, wine or soda - water for me, then chill for just over 2 hours for the movie. After, head out to get Zoey on this side of town, run errands and call it a day! It's how every Friday should be!
