Well today is the big day, okay not really, I'm just attempting to meet my goal of climbing over 6,000 meters this month and today is the last day to do so. I usually do not complete the climbing goals as often as I do the mileage or time goals. You would thing that I would because everywhere I go around here I am climbing a hill or mountain!

 I'm basically out of time for today but wanted to be sure to mention that I was able to accomplish my cycling goal for the month of May and actually go beyond it by several hundred feet of elevation climbed. It would be cool to do the 44k or more that some of the cyclist will attempt and that the pros have no choice but to do in the current race.

For me I am pumped by the accomplishment and am now looking forward to some of the new challenges that are available in June. A couple of them will be more achievable than others although I will keep my head down and see what I come up with at the end of the month!

Photo: So I bought a new saddle on Friday to try and it worked out pretty well on yesterday's ride. I had also already purchased a new Brooks saddle that I wanted to try, it showed up yesterday so I'm going to give it a try next. It's not ideal to swap them so often, and it's a pain in the ass to setup honestly, but I've been itching to try a Brooks. Here is a photo of it.
