Apple Watch Delivers Today!

Wow, Wednesday is already here and the week is going by at a really good pace so far. This is always a good thing, especially after a long weekend. More times than not, and my concern yesterday, was that everyone would be running around like chickens with their heads cut off to try and play catchup after putting everything off before the long weekend.

It seems that a lot of people came in over the weekend or stayed later last Friday instead of leaving when we were given the okay to have an 'early out' to start enjoying the holiday. My thinking is that they too were concerned most would bail early or take extra vacation days off this week to extend the long weekend, in-turn putting everyone behind schedule.

Instead I think everyone managed to get a lot accomplished Friday or over the weekend by working a few extra hours so they wouldn't be hosed today. It worked out great and everyone is sitting really good today from what I can tell from the meetings I've attended.

Visitors, Positive Outlooks

We've also had a lot of sales visit tours as well as the usual 'dog and pony' shows the past couple weeks which have been filled with pretty much everything positive.

This is always a good thing, especially when you have been recently purchased by another company and those are some of the people coming in to see what's going on. It's awesome to know that they are excited to see what we're doing in my studio and that they not only want to learn more about our processes and games but are taking note of all the things we are excelling at.

Apple Watch Arrives Today

Monday I received the email that my credit card was charged for the Apple watch I ordered almost two months ago. It was not supposed to be here until the first or second week of June so I was excited to get the notice because I knew that it meant the watch would be showing up sooner than it was supposed to.

Wouldn't you know it yesterday I received an email around lunchtime that said my Apple Watch would be here sometime today before 3 o'clock. This is awesome news so I immediately printed out the pre-signed form to put on the door so they could leave the delivery today.

Tonight I doubt I will be doing any cycling, surfing the Internet or general research as I normally do in the evenings when we don't have shows to watch or catchup on. Of course I will be playing with Zoey as much as possible as well, that is always much more fun than most anything else anyhow.

Things like reading her the bubbles book that she has been hooked on for the past couple weeks. I have probably read that book 5 to 10 times everyday and that is okay with me. What more fun than having your daughter sit on your lap while you read to her. I have a feeling that most of my spare time tonight will be playing with the watch once Zoey is in bed.

Back To It

Alright, time for me to dive back into work. I typed up a little bit more while I was eating my wrap that Cicely picked me up this morning for lunch. It was really good as usual although it would have been even better if it had Swiss cheese on it instead of the oddly tasking American. No matter, it was good and my stomach is happy as of now so all is well.

Few more hours of focusing, a few more meetings this afternoon and then it will be the much anticipated trip home to verify that my package has arrived, my package was put in the correct location that I specified and not stolen. I seriously doubt it would be bothered. Knock on wood, but I have had so much delivered and never had an issue with anything.

That says a lot about the neighborhood and the people in the area in general. Let's just hope it stays that way for the long run as I do see many homes being let go a little and that is truly unfortunate. Thankfully, most of the homes on my street, as well as the ones that are next to us or close are well maintained. I would go crazy otherwise, well more than I already do so just imagine!

I'm confident that most everyone that has not been under a rock is aware of what they look like, its more for my future reference should I look back at this entry one day. As shown below I went with the "Sport Edition" as it was the most inexpensive (prices of the watches range from $400 - $17,000). This will allow me to better decide how the watch fits into my daily life, or doesn't. Either way, I love getting new technology in the mail!
