Babysitting Boo Dog

This morning we had someone ringing the doorbell at just after 6 AM! Who in the hell is ringing our doorbell that early in the day? As I was getting ready to get up and see who it was, while saying out loud "who in the hell is ringing the doorbell" is when Cicely says, "oh shxt, I forgot - the lawn guys are coming today for our spring lawn treatment". Ah, that explains it then - they are always on time or super early in the morning.

I was ready to get up and unlock the gate for them, Cicely already beat me to the punch. She had answered the door and was heading out to the side gates to unlock it. Thanks Cicely, although we have no way to keep Oggy off of the lawn as I had planned to get a roll or two of that plastic fencing so I can put it around the patio and keep Oggy off of the lawn while the stuff works into the soil we never made it down to Home Depot to do so.

So anyway, she stayed home today to keep a close eye on Oggy and take him out when he needed to use the bathroom so he would not get on the grass and end up having it bother his paws. Worst yet, is if he was to then clean his paws or his belly or privates he would be ingesting the stuff. When the grass is long the little fella is like a low rider anyhow and his belly and junk drags.

So for now that will do it. Not much else to rabble about today other than I still have nearly 200 miles to go to finish my challenge for the month. I am still confident that I will be able to do it so long as I continue to plug away as I have been. Today I missed the gym so that will cut me back about 10 miles unless I try to do them tonight when I get home.

I may, it just depends on the route that I choose on the trainer. If I choose something too difficult then it will kick my ass way too fast. As it is now, my legs have been like wet noodles from all of the cycling. I don't know how the pros do it? Well actually I guess that is why they are the pros.

Otherwise that is about all of the news for today. We did not get anymore rain this afternoon, well if we did I did not notice it or smell it. Yesterday on the other-hand was crazy in the afternoon. When I was coming back from the gym it was raining so hard that I was not looking forward to leaving. Not that the rain really bothers me, but the amount that it was coming down I would have been completely soaked by the time I made it out to the car!

Photo: This is a picture of my first attempt at drawing any sort of animal in probably well over 15 years. It's definitely a parent why I stick to management or technical art I don't think I would make it very long as an artist. Nonetheless I'm honestly kinda proud of it. Although I should have modified the one eye, it's a bit low.
