BOO!

So it has been a pretty crazy couple of days. Even without Halloween being today - scary and odd stuff has been happening all around.

Cubed Life

First things first, we found out yesterday that another 150 people were silently laid off from my company. Several of which we have known for a long time. It was silently done at some point yesterday which is even odder seeing that it was not a Friday before the weekend etc., like is usually done.

I guess sooner is better though so they won't be jobless right before the holidays. Really sucks that this is happening again. I was told it was more of the low performers or non essential positions but you never know. I guess it's time for me to step up my already stepped up game another notch.

Today we have a team meeting for my group so I hope it's only to tell us that we have nothing to worry about with regards to the layoffs. Either that or they are letting us all go!

4:30 AM

So yesterday on the way to moms Cicely was craving a fillet-o-fish from McDonald's. I know better than to deny a pregnant woman her cravings so we stopped. I could not resist not getting something warm to end the day.

So I had Cicely order me a mocha coffee and it was really good, at the time anyhow. About 4:30 in the morning my body had other plans and woke me up shaking and super cold with a lump in my throat.

About 10 minutes after being up it was time to start throwing up and throwing up and throwing up. Wow that was sure a lot of fun to do while 1/2 asleep - not! Luckily once it was over I started feeling 10x better, always a plus.

I am pretty sure that it was the coffee because it was what my puke looked like and smelled like along with chicken from dinner. Yum right! I am feeling a little better today thankfully just a little bit like my stomach is still pissed.

Baby Doctor

Today we have another baby doctor appointment. Nothing exciting like ultrasounds or anything. Just weights and blood pressure tests. Everything is good to go, Cicely is a great mom and takes awesome care of baby.

Baby has been moving around a lot more from what she tells me as well. Yesterday especially although I have not felt her anymore. Cicely is up 6 pounds which is good for her and baby. According to the samples - baby is the size of a small spaghetti squash now - I love squash.

On With It

Alright it's on with the day and see what comes of it. I was supposed to go get fingerprints today so I could update my state gaming license but I think it will have to wait until lunch tomorrow.
