When doing the garage sale thing you have to get up super early to drive around and see what sort of junk people are trying to get rid of. Otherwise, the MexiVans will show up at the crack of dawn and buy everything worth getting.
Generally we end up with crap that we "could not live without" at that time. In the end it will most likely end up in a corner of the garage or shed to be sold at our own garage sale one day.
Who knows maybe we will get lucky and find some baby clothes. Really that is our main goal today. If we find some tools that would be sweet also, and if we find nothing, but get out for a few hours I am ok with that as well. It's always a lot of fun hanging out with my Cizzle.

Short entry today. Time to pull the plug and enjoy the morning / day. I want to get more work done in the garage and clear out as much of the office as possible. I have the new cabinet I was never able to hang last weekend along with the mounting system for it. I need to get it set-up and attached to the wall before I can do anything and it's a little bit of work because of all the measuring, leveling and stuff that is necessary to make it a solid install that will last. Once done I still need to build the first of many shelving systems I am adding to the closets.
All in a weekend days work I suppose. Much better than a normal day at the office. It's a change of scenery and something for us rather than the company.
Hope your weekend is treating you well and if you are garage sale hunting - good luck!
**Did not find much of anything at the garage sales. Our area is so big and spread out that it's hard to find sales without a map. Plus as I mentioned we were running a little late so a lot of the people had prolly already packed it in by the time we showed up to see what they had to offer.
Next year the community needs to consider doing some sort of a map online at the very least to give an idea of the areas that are participating. I wish I had the time and the resources because a simple iPhone app would be sweet with GPS coordinates & directions to each house and maybe even an icon that represents mos of what they are selling. Like a rattle icon for baby items, a wrench to signify tools for sale and so on - just sayin'.
